There are so many ways to make a statement in any space. This week I'd like to share a few images where this is achieved by the use of lighting. In some cases it's the bulbs or fittings, in others it's the actual light and in others it's a combination of both. But in all cases the effect it creates is both stunning and effective. So lets look at the first one photo from iguzzini.com Here the arches are highlighted by lights illuminating the inside of the arch, a feat repeated down the tunnel. Stunning. A great use to highlight a feature. Photos from archdaily.com Here simple hanging bulbs are used and sculpted to reflect the arches of the rooms they are illuminating. Making the lighting both part of the architecture as well as being functional. It manages to stand apart from the original structure yet doesn't harm it, it enhances the features of the structure by reflecting it and illuminating it. Photo from s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/ And sometimes its the fixture or casing. Find more on 'Reframe' via this link http://www.archdaily.com/795982/reframe-alexandru-fleseriu-plus-peter-eszter
