There are a lot of options if you are considering painting a bedroom grey. Like any colour there is a vast range of shades within the grey. When looking at the grey options I would also look at existing furniture and or new furniture going into the bedroom and see if there is a colour that would suit as an undertone in the grey to match it to the over all look. Pure grey (mixing white and black) can be quite harsh and perhaps a little uninviting to use in a bedroom. It can be rather cold and bland. However when you add an undertone to the grey it gives the colour depth, personality and you can do amazing things with it to create a warm and inviting vibe. If you prefer a cooler grey then undertones like blue and purple could be interesting for you, while beiges, reds and orange undertones will give a warmer grey. Painting a dresser can be so much fun, and there is no ‘best’ colour to use. It all depends on your taste, ideas and how you’d like to have the dresser look in the over all space once it is finished. If you prefer the dresser to blend with the rest of the decor then look around the room at other furniture, wall colour, carpet, etc and select a colour that either matches with those or select a colour that is slightly different yet fits with the over all look. Neutral colour like whites, greys, beiges, etc will look great in most settings so choosing within that range is usually safe. However there are no rules, so why not look at perhaps making the desser a stand out, feature, piece? Add bold colours, pattern, texture. It will not only look great, but can add a little fun and interest to the room aswell. Is there a best colour to paint a dresser? Any colour that you pick will be the best colour as it will, hopefully, transform the piece into a dresser you’ll love.
